We've already discussed the importance of safe sex earlier today thanks to the CDC's alarming reports about the STI rate of young people. Siiiigh.
But according to BetaBeat, a new invention from Firebox asserts that it's equally important to make sure you carry a condom... for your phone. And unlike regs condoms, you don't have to tuck them away in the No-Man's Land of your purse where your tampons and birth control live. (Mine also features a bunch of smooshed peppermint patties and a curled-up Verne Troyer.)

Fair enough, but I gotta admit, I was hoping for some kind of "safe sexting" gadget. (Those anti-drunk-text apps don't work for me: Believe me, I've tried 'em all.) They also make these so-called "condoms" for iPads.
Might I suggest a size that fits Kindles? When I'm reading a novel by, say, one of the Brontë sisters, I sometimes feel like its sheer steaminess might knock me up.
